Inspired by tradition, they are crafted by Indians native to the Four Corners, (an area stretching across the Colorado Plateau into AZ,UT, and NM). Some believe that turquoise brings good fortune and strength, coral protects you from danger, and gaspeite brings good fortune as well. The spiny Oyster gem measures 1/2" x 3/8". The gaspeite and red coral gems sit side-by-side, each measuring 1/8" in diameter, and are crowned with a teardrop shaped turquoise, 1/4" long x 3/16" wide.
